The National Capital Commission is expected to provide an update on the redevelopment of the LeBreton Flats at a public meeting on Thursday.
Earlier this year, a group led by Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk won the right to negotiate a plan to develop the area. Plans include a new arena for the Senators and an aqueduct (pictured above), among other things.
NCC board members are expected to spend about 30 minutes on the update before discussing its Barn Rehabilitation Strategy and a site review for the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.
The meeting takes place at NCC headquarters at 40 Elgin Street, Room 324, starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. For those unable to make it, the NCC will live-stream the meeting on their page here.
