Ottawa police seek public’s help to identify Orleans robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for a convenience store robbery in Orleans.

On Oct. 30, 2016, at approximately 9:35 pm, a lone male entered a convenience store situated along the 5900 block of Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard, in Orleans. He produced a knife and demanded money. The suspect removed cash from the register and then demanded lottery tickets and cigarettes.

Police description: “The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 25-35 years of age, approximately 5’7″ with a medium build. At the time he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, with white zippers in the middle and white drawstrings, blue jeans (baggy in the back), white running shoes with dark soles. He had white masking tape or similar like material on his face.”
