The Canada 150 coins are now in circulation – here’s how to spot them

A new set of coins marking Canada’s 150th birthday are now in circulation, the Royal Canadian Mint announced Thursday, so collectors would do well to keep a close eye on their change over the next little while.

“Like the rest of Canada, the Mint is looking forward to July 1st to celebrate everything that makes our country great,” Sandra Hanington, President and CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint, said in a release. “Over time, the Canada 150 circulation coins will become lasting keepsakes of this incredible year, so find them and hold on to them for future generations to enjoy.”

For those who are interested, here’s what each of the coins looks like, from most valuable to least.
